]]> I was about to create a post in my blog and thought, "I think I'll switch to turbo mode." Of course, in order for turbo mode to work in a wordpress blog you must have Google Gears installed. Unfortunately, there isn't a version of Gears for x64 Linux. I love linux, and I love having a computer with 8gb of RAM. I also love being able to use all 8gb of RAM so a 64 bit OS (or at least a PAE enabled OS) is required. Google, as much stuff as you have running on Linux, why can't you make an x64 version of Gears for me?

I waited on Google Earth for over two years. It finally came. Why do the Linux nerds have to wait till last for all of Google's cool stuff. Since most of the stuff is beta for a long time anyway, why not just let the Linux nerds be the beta testers. I think it's at least a courteous gesture.
